Also known as micropigmentation, it is a form of temporary cosmetic tattooing which allows you to have long lasting and natural looking eyebrows, lips and eyeliner color.

Longevity is based on your skin type, health and lifestyle. Typically clients come in for an annual touch up.

A lidocaine anesthetic is applied to keep this to a minimum to where it is completely tolerable. If there are allergies to lidocaine it will have to be done without any anesthetic. But the most pain would feel like tweezing hair.

How long does the procedure take?

The appointment can take up to two-three hours depending which procedure.

What if I am having Chemotherapy, can I still get semi permanent brows?

It is best to get your brow Microblading/Powder or any semi permanent makeup BEFORE you begin chemotherapy treatment. We recommend booking no later than 8 weeks before you begin chemo treatment so brows can go through healing properly.

If deciding to get the semi permanent makeup AFTER chemo treatment we suggest 8 weeks post finishing chemo treatment. We do not recommend getting any type of permanent makeup DURING chemo treatment as skin tissue is sensitive and prone to infection.

No, we do not recommend as we cannot use any lidocaine for numbing the area.

How long does semi-permanent makeup last?

Semi permanent pigments are designed to fade over time. That is why touch-ups are recommended between 1-2 years and no longer to keep the pigment looking fresh. Outside factors such as sun exposure, pigment color (lighter colors fade faster), oily skin type, iron deficiency and smoking affect the rate at which the pigment is broken down.

What should I expect immediately after my procedure?

Once your procedure is done you can expect the pigment looking much darker and bolder than the healed result. If skin is on the sensitive side you will have redness but should subside within the hour. Soreness or slight swelling if any may occur but will subside within 24 hours.

First day after procedure they will be at its peak in darkness. Within a few days you will notice some slight peeling/flaking of skin and brows will appear spotty or patchy. All this is normal and part of healing process do not be alarmed. You will also notice you may not see any pigment after peeling of skin, this is completely normal as pigment does not show automatically and will take a week or two to resurface to the top of the epidermis.
